Dr. Katie DPT was born and raised in Encinitas, California, and joined the REPAIR team in the fall of 2021. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science from California Lutheran University and a doctorate in physical therapy in 2021 from the University of St. Augustine, Miami.

Katie has always been passionate about sports and orthopedic therapy as she was a four-year collegiate athlete and student athletic trainer.

Katie spent her year of clinical rotations in a variety of outpatient orthopedic clinics across the country, including placements in Florida, California, and South Carolina. She is passionate about the physical therapy profession and uses the skills and manual techniques learned through schooling to return patients to feeling and functioning at their best.
