Dr. Abtin DPT was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, and joined the REPAIR team in the Spring of 2021. He graduated in 2017 with a bachelor of science in health science from California State University, Fullerton, and a doctorate in physical therapy in 2021 from the University of St. Augustine, Miami.

Abtin spent his first year of clinical rotations in orthopedic/sports clinics across the country including placements in California, Ohio, and Florida.

Abrin’s passion for orthopedic and sports therapy stems from a lifetime of sports, most notably soccer and snowboarding. His passion is not only for physical therapy but more specifically for the manual therapy techniques and skills he has acquired throughout his schooling.

In 2021, in recognition of excellence in spinal and extremity manual therapy Abtin was awarded the Stanley V. Perris and Catherine E. Patla award.
